Limiting Core Beliefs

Often our inability to lead an abundant life is that we have some limiting core beliefs, hard wired into our subconscious that block us.  Consider the following examples of common erroneous core beliefs:

* Money Doesn't Grow on Trees

* I must keep my intuitive thoughts to myself or others will judge

* You have to give up your values, like integrity, in order to make a lot of money

* The odds are against me

* All good things must come to an end

* You must compete to get ahead

* You have to work very hard to make enough money to live comfortably

* Good single men (women) are hard to find

* Romance dies after marriage

* True love is found only in fairy-tales

* The older I get, the more prone to illness I am

* There's not enough to go around

Or, any variation of the "I'm not enough " beliefs, such as:

I'm not educated enough, rich enough, talented enough, young enough, well enough, thin enough, etc., to do, or have what I desire.

You can probably add a few of your personal favorites to this list. Many of these core beliefs have been with us a long time and are deeply rooted in our subconscious. Imagine a record album which has a groove deeply scored in the vinyl. Every time the record is played, the needle falls automatically into that groove. In the same way, our core beliefs may be deeply etched in our consciousness, and our minds slip into those grooves automatically.

Abundance

God offers support to fulfill our life purpose, and will guide us on this journey. There’s nothing wrong with asking Heaven to help us with our material necessities, relationships and more, so that we can devote ourselves to helping and healing others.  All of us have the power within us to be as abundantly supported as we desire.

Below are 7 common blocks to abundance:

1. A fear of success
Many of us don't realize that we procrastinate because we might have a fear of success.

2. A fear of failure
Another reason for procrastinating because we  fear of failure or rejection

3. A fear of looking within
If you feel stuck in corporate drudgery may be because you think the corporation is your only way source of Abundance. Your source is within not external. Too many people work for years, hoping for the big raise or promotion, because they think this is their best chance for abundance.

4. A fear there isn't enough time
You need to have time for your life purpose and and it seems impossible to work a full time job and develop a life purpose.

5.  A fear that you don't deserve abundance

The fear we are not good enough can block your path to abundance.   It has to do with the feeling of "I’m not enough, I’m not qualified, or I’m not ready".  You also might not feel worthy enough to receive abundance.  You may have grown up with these beliefs.  Or you might be someone who likes to give to others and make everyone in the world happy, but at the expense of your own happiness.

6.    A fear of taking away from others

If you were taught not to ask for anything for yourself, you may be reluctant to ask for Heaven’s help. You may feel there is not enough to go around or that you are being selfish to ask for things for yourself.  Your receiving doesn’t take away from someone else. In spiritual truth, there really is an infinite supply of everything.

7.   A fear of criticism and ridicule

You may feel your life purpose will not be accepted by friends or family.  Good advice says to normalize your life purpose by talking about it with your friends and family who are supportive, just like they talk about their work.  Once you start normalizing it, others will start to realize there’s nothing weird about this. This is just something you do for the world. Recognize that criticism and ridicule is fear talking. If you are doing something a bit different, something they don’t encounter every day, it may have something to do with their fears. The more you put yourself out there, make yourself known in whatever it is that you do, the less criticism you will get.
